Cathrine Snow

About Me

My name is Cathrine Snow and I love teaching third grade. I have taught at Nibley Park for my whole career. I have taught 3rd grade, Kindergarten, and 4th grade. This year I am embarking on a new adventure. I will be the school’s new librarian.

I grew up here in Salt Lake City, except for a few years during high school when I lived abroad in Vienna, Austria. I went to an American International school, and this is where I truly learned how important education is. From this incredible experience, I realized that it was my life desire to become an elementary school teacher. I came home for my senior year and graduated from Highland High School in 1997. It was that fall that began my studies at the University of Utah. I graduated from the University in 2004 with my Bachelor of Science in elementary education.  I began taking classes from Southern Utah University for my Library Media Endorsement.

I am married and have been married for almost 19 years and have three beautiful daughters. We live in the Sugar House area and enjoy it very much.  I have been very lucky to travel extensively throughout my life. From this, I have learned about the world and other cultures. I love diversity and the aspect it brings to my classroom.

I believe that every child can be taught, and they all have a desire to learn. The children just need the love and support of a loving teacher and parents to guide them throughout their education. I am excited to get to know you and your child.
