Mrs. Battle's Weekly update for May 31-June 4

Greetings from Nibley Park School (K-8)


Yearbooks: If you want to purchase a yearbook, please either send the order form with your student or come into our main office next week. The cost is $10.00.  We will be distributing yearbooks to students on June 3, 2021.

Following are a few reminders and up-dates:

May 31, 2021 – No School

June 3, 2021 - Kindergarten Celebration – 9:00 A.M.

This celebration will be held in our auditorium. Benches will be socially distanced. Please sit with your immediate family. MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. The only exception will be while taking pictures.

June 3, 2021 - 8th Grade and 6th Grade Essential Elements Celebration – 1:30 P.M.

MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. The only exception will be while taking pictures.

Social Distancing will be practiced.

June 4, 2021 – Short day

June 7, 2021 – Last day of school will be a short day.

(Dismissal time on Short Days is 12:50 P.M.)


End of Year Activities: Grade level teachers will share information about end of year activities in their classes. Remote learners may participate with parent permission.

Masks at school – Masks must always be worn on our campus until the last day of school.

Student Laptops -   All laptops must be turned in by the last day of school. Teachers will provide information about when the devices will no longer be taken home from school. Remote learners will be provided information about when to return laptops. If the laptops are damaged, parent will be notified.

Safety: Thank you for always checking in at the main office when entering our building. You must have a visitor’s pass to visit any pod or classroom. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Summer School:

The early Childhood Department is providing Summer Learning Options programs for students who will be five years old by September 1, 2021.

There are two options for Summer Programs

  • In-Person Summer Class
  • Online Summer Class
