After School Program

Dear Parents,

We are stoked to be well into a new academic school year! As many of you know, there have been a few changes that recently happened ! Ms. Stapley, our wonderful Elementary Coordinator, has received a new job position which unfortunate means she will not be with us at Nibley Park School. Stepping in for her will be our new Elementary Coordinator, Mr. Aaron Zoumadakis. We are so excited to have Mr. Zoumadakis join us and know that he will be such a benefit to our programs! And Satish Ramal who recently graduated from college has accepted a position in the private sector. We wish him well in his new adventure. As a result, we have the fabulous Cassidy Zekas joining as our Middle School Coordinator. Mr. Zekas is coming most recently from the Clayton Middle School community. We welcome him to the Nibley community as well. With all that being said, we've worked really hard with the Salt Lake City School District, and the administration here at Nibley Park School to provide your students with a new and exciting Middle School program of After School! Information relating to the Middle School program (6th-8th grade) is as follows:

The system will be doing an automatic reset and will erase any application submitted prior to this time. We ask that you please pay close attention to this detail because it may be the reason your student's application doesn't get processed.

WELCOME. The Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) Community Education Department oversees the youth afterschool, kindergarten enrichment, and enrichment programming.

Once at this website, select the  'Apply for After School' tab and complete the application form. A separate application form will need to be submitted for each individual student. Once the application form(s) is completed, the student(s) application will go under review and will then either be accepted or waitlisted via email, that same day. If the student's application is accepted, the registration fee and first month's tuition (totaling $85 per student) will need to be paid the following day, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 between the hours of 1pm – 6pm at Nibley Park Elementary's After School office (rm 111). Please come prepared with exact cash, check or money order. If you are unable to make it in to the school on this day during the specified time, please make any necessary arrangements to ensure that payment is made to solidify your student's spot. If payment is not received by 6pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, the student's spot WILL be given up to an individual on the wait list.  If your student is placed on the wait list and you receive an email changing their status to accepted, payment for them must be made within one week of being notified.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us via email or phone! We hope you all have an amazing rest of the school year and make the most of your Summer vacation!
