About Me

I am a former Nibley Park sixth grade teacher and am so glad to be back working with the Nibley Park community as the Assistant Principal at our wonderful school. I started out life in South Salt Lake and moved to the Sugar House community when I was 9 years old. I graduated from Highland High and have attended SLCC, Westminster, The U of U, and USU. My teaching experience includes 5th and 6th grades in the Centerville community, Mountain View elementary, and as stated before, Nibley Park K-8. I have also been an academic mathematics coach in our district at several schools in various neighborhoods in our district. I feel at home at Nibley Park K-8 and love working with the students, teachers, and parents in our community. My wife and I still live in Sugar House where we are raising our 9 kids. (Yes, 9! My wife is amazing! I definitely married up!) Here’s to another great year at Nibley Park, where we strive for excellence and equity in every classroom, for every student, every day.
